Summertime is the time of sunshine, parties, & super cute outfits! The season brings happiness, more daylight, & the desire to be around people.
Of course along with our hair being heat/humidity friendly, & outfit fitting the vibe, our makeup needs to set it all off!
Being a Marylander you just never know what this weathers going to do. But there’s one thing that we know for sure, this humidity is no joke. Therefore we need a look that can last in the heat, as well as look flawless all day!
Less is more for the summer!
Golden, warm, bronzed, glistened, natural, glowing rosy & highlighted are a few words that come to mind when I think of summer makeup. We want to compliment our features while replicating the sun on our skin.

Define your brows, sweep a little bronzed contour under the cheek bones, a soft highlight at the very top of the cheek bone (if you need a little extra color softly tap a peach or pink blush on the apples of your cheeks), add a few layers of mascara to open your eyes & a dash of your favorite cream or white shadow for that inner corner reflect.

If you want to play up your eyes a little more utilize matte & shimmer shades in the natural tones such as champagne, taupe, gold, bronze; adding a soft hint of your favorite pop of color and if you’re going to line your eyes line them thinly. (The best way to do this would be with the Mirabella Magic Marker liner). Apply your shadow a little heavier, wing your liner or thicken the line for a night out giving more drama to our eyes.
Finally add a little security to your makeup application with a powder dusting to set it (also helps to control melting due to oil production) or use Mirabella’s Bullet Proof Matte Finishing setting spray (sets makeup to last longer, helps reduce fine lines & minimizes pores).
